we meet unknowingly,

our thoughts spiraling

                                  into cosmic vortices,

     the infinity of

                               when past and future

         have no presence,

                   our incondite energies

                                           of reciprocal causality

                    dismissing notions of

                            randomly portioned

                           I once took comfort in

                                                                coastal highlands,

                                                conversing with covariate

                                                                 and midnight moons,

                                                    but I returned

                                                                   the city streets,

                                                                                      found no friends
