Third Mountain

Reason forsakes me
At the jagged edge of Third
Mountain passage, raw

Footage assailing my
Mental imagery, past and
Present variants of me,

Cogent evidence of
A life spent navigating inner
Rebellions prosaically

Reserved for Zen
Monks, but there is no
Claim to exclusivity

Over the spiritual
Treasures thriving within
And I spy an orca

Drifting by, though
I detect no oceans – I have
Yet to learn what

Secrets remain in
The thirty-two winds, mine
For blood and bone

“Inner work is the catalyst that forges the transformation of unconditional love within the individual. Mindfulness, compassion, and gratitude are the imperative conducts of inner work.”
