Complement

We absorb each other’s
Thoughts in the wakening
Moments when dewed

Morning leaves laced
With silken threads declare
Daybreak’s light and we

Obediently enact our
Sunrise routines perfected
By decades of repetition

Defined through fringe
Energies of the wayfarer’s
Promise, a yin and yang

Complement of stitched
Patches sewn into a space-time
Horizon meant only for us

“All chaos results from the inner state of the individual and accumulates as the aggregate force of the collective. Consequently, the human species incites chaos and experiences the responses from the forces of nature, in whatever manner they materialize.”
