My thoughts are coursed
By flawed emotions striking
A reveal of less committed

Diligence facing setbacks
I should have sidestepped
Before crushing me with

Ruthless resolve, like
Saltwater cutting scars into
Cambrian rocks and I

Discern the absence of
Plausible rationality amid
Endogenous frays that

Strip away my failsafe
Sensibilities and I am alone
Facing the invariable

Noesis tearing at my
Soul as I merge inner and
Outer realities until

Once unbroken lines
Disintegrate, ceding to me
A glimpse of freedom

“We must not accept the proposition that a relationship with a government, political organization, religion, belief system, corporation, geographical border, or even family constitutes an irreducible primary. The irreducible primary is the human species, and this fact is firmly established by the unique composition and determinative influences of human beings relative to all that exists.”

  1. It has taken me a number of reads and rereads to get some idea of what I think you are saying here. I wonder if the intellect can ever truly grasp what the soul just knows.

    1. You are discerning a difference between spiritual and mental intellect, which would be correct. The two are not the same, but tied together until a personal evolution occurs. Our difficulty, as human beings, is not understanding how we are caught-up in both aspects. A conscious effort is required to transcend the resultant “chaos.” Thank you for the discussion. ☮️
