Paradise

We deliberate fears
That are ceded rule over
Sensitivities though

We try to hide it
With our cunning feints
At fending confession

Of appetencies that
Thrust our frenzy for
Reserving spots in

Hereafter real estates
When so much before
Us sprawls in ruin

By a shared failure
To worship granted life
Or the children in our

Charge who only needed
Our faultless love to grow
Completely, but so little

We grasp of paradise and
Other lofty spaces claimed
As our right of passage
